Originally from New England, Jay has lived in Fuquay-Varina since 1995.

He enlisted in the US Army serving as an infantryman in the 82nd Airborne from 1995-98. In 2005 he was called back to active duty and served a tour in Iraq.

Prior to enlisting in the Army, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.

​Married for over 20 years to his wife Julie, they reside in Fuquay-Varina with their 3 kids, 2 cats, one dog and he has been a sales representative in the mailing industry for 25 years.

​Jay is a member of the the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Ancient Order of Hibernians, and St Bernadettes Catholic Church.

Elizabeth was born and raised in New Jersey and relocated to Fuquay-Varina from Lititz, Pennsylvania with her husband, Don. They have four children: Daniel, Brenden, Benjamin, and Amanda.

She obtained an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies and has been in the legal field since 2004.

She is a Paralegal for the Law Office of Jonathan Richardson, where her primary focus is on real estate and estate planning.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys going to the beach, singing with a worship team and choir at church, volunteering, and spending time with her family and her spoiled pets, Jack and Addison.

Elizabeth’s passion is guiding others to help make their dreams come true.

Julie is the wife of a Veteran and lived the military spouse’s life for over 15 years before her husband retired from the Air Force.  She grew up in the Pittsburgh region and she and her family relocated to North Carolina in 2016.

Julie holds a MS & MACC in Accounting from the University of South Carolina and is a CPA in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina.  She has been practicing in the field of Taxation for more than 20 years.

Married for almost 30 years to her husband J.C., they live near Angier and have two children, Olivia and Jon, plus various fur-babies.  Their family is active in their church and when not working, they enjoy camping, the beach and family time.

Julie is a Covenant Partner at ChurchAlive in Fuquay and she is a member of both the NCACPA and the AICPA.

Brian enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at age 17 and later went on to become an officer in the U.S. Army through the ROTC program at UNC-Chapel Hill. He served in infantry, cavalry, and armor units in the N.C. National Guard, and finished his military career with the 19th Special Forces Group in the W.V. National Guard.

Brian is the General Counsel, Office of the Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina.

Brian is the proud father of Michael, Jacob, and Joshua. In 2018, he was appointed by the N.C. Senate as a Commissioner of the State Rules Review Commission. He has also served as an appointed member of the Wake County Planning Board, and on other non-profit boards.

He coaches youth football and serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 614. He is a Master Mason, attending Cary Lodge #198 AF&AM.

Brian is an avid sailor and outdoorsman and in his free time you’re likely to find him exploring the waters of the North Carolina coast with his family aboard his sailboat, backpacking the A.T., or hunting and fishing with his sons.

Mark is an Army Veteran and served as an infantryman in the U.S. Army from 1985 through 1989 and in the U.S. Army National Guard through 1995. He has been a mortgage banker for the last 25 years.

Originally from central New York, he attended Saint Bonaventure University for undergraduate studies. He went on to receive his MBA from the State University of New York.

Mark has been in the Triangle-area since 1995 and currently lives in Holly Springs with his wife Tammy, their sons, Jonathan and Thomas, and Barkley, their golden retriever.

Mark is active in his church, enjoys fishing and working out.

A lifelong North Carolinian, Brent is a 31 year National Guard combat veteran with tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.

While at UNCW in Wilmington, he met and married his wife Erin. After six years of enlisted service, Brent went on to become an Aviation Officer, Director of Aviation and is currently the Director of Joint Operations, Exercises, Strategic Plans, and Policy.

He has an MMAS from U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies in Operational Art and Design and an MSS in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College.

Brent and Erin, their two children Ian and Riley, and spoiled pet Goldendoodle named Finley O’Flannery live in Cary, NC.

​He is a Board member for the NC National Guard Association and a life member of the American Legion.

Brent's late father was a retired Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran and his grandfather was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran.
